Yes, I had no problem lighting 8 sparklers at once… although, that did burn my hand and I dropped them just as the park ranger happened to be driving by!
And Lindsay… we’re all getting old.

But, I’m an optimist so… just in case – LOL! Silly Frilly Kids could use better photos than I take.
Poor Bella! Sounds like me and Cotton, we’ll do anything for our pups! 
It’s not so much what I do to keep cool, it’s more what I do for everyone else! I think it was in March/April when we had like 3 warm days and the pups couldn’t cool off. I even rubbed them with ice cubes lol. So we went out and bought a brand new air conditioner for them- even though we planned on waiting a few more months and didn’t use it again until this heat wave hit 
We constantly give the dogs ice cubes for them to cool down even if it means we run out for ourselves (I even bought them special bone shaped ice cube trays JUST for them). Cotton and the dogs love the cold at night now so I sleep under 6 layers. We even bought a bigger $500 a/c for the kitchen for the pups when we were planning on waiting longer. They’re so expensive but so worth it

That picture is too cute, looks like they had a blast! We’ve been staying inside to beat the heat but our pool was installed today so hopefully by the time it fills up it’ll still be warm enough to swim in

We’ve been enjoying ice cream from the ice cream stand while in the car with AC on. Doesn’t get much cooler than that!
We try to keep cool by playing in the kiddie pool. Or we stay in the ac!!
Cute dress, Joyce. I am waiting to see what the rest of the Kelly’s wore and if Chris did a good job as the husband/father prop. To stay cool, stay out of the heat, and swimming. Kate does your lens fog up with this heat and humidty?
While I love fresh air in the fall and spring, I need my AC in the summer! We’ve also been providing the ice cream man who comes to our neighborhood with plenty of gas money. This is a great idea for a contest. October IS a beautiful month for pictures!
the best way to stay cool is to sit one the beach right where the tide comes in, stick your feet in the water, sit your butt in a chair and read a fab book. ( depending on your location, you can swap for a pool, or kiddie pool if a budget).

At our house we’ve been sleeping in only diapers (the babies not the mommy drinking ice water like its going out of style (the mommy not the babies) and dreaming of crisp, cool mountains in Colorado- or maybe Alaska – or better yet…Deep snow in Anartica
On the beach… sitting our butts in beach chairs with frozen bottles of water and a spray bottle to spray ourselves to keep cool! And at home… the POOL and rita’s water ice! Come on over whenever you want Kate:)
We LOVE our Buzz Lightyear rocket sprinkler that shoots up in the air and gets us soaked! That cools us off!!
Sigh. Ok, admitting time. We live across the street from a Dairy Queen…. ACROSS THE STREET! SO I have thrown my wedding diet out the window, and we use the heat as an excuse to visit whenever possible!! (And this, my friends, is why I picked a dress with a corset back! LOL)
Get in the Ocean! It feels amazing after laying out on the beach for a while! Oooor…if i dont have the luxury of going to the beach that day…stay inside!!
I can feel for ya Bella!! I have two labs and two active boys that don’t always know how to stop!! So, just flip over, stretch your legs out and let the cool AC blow across you!! Good girl!! Lillie (our golden retriever) goes outside to pee and then runs to the back door to get back in the AC. Think she’s spoiled much? The babies hair gets curlier and curlier and the temperature rises
Our dog Molly is a big fan of the tile floor in our bathroom As for the kids, the big twins got some pretty cool water guns for their birthday and the little twins like stomping in the puddles.
We have been doing everything to stay cool!

Our cats have the same ideals about being outside. They want out SO bad, but then find the shade for a while and want back in the A/C! I don’t know how you don’t turn on your A/C, it was 108 degrees here yesterday and we are only 2 hours south of you!

I’ve been sitting in our newly purchased home in our central air. An amazing luxury which I can’t imagine now how I ever had survived without it. (especially now that I’m 5 1/2 months pregnant)Would love for you to be the first to photograph our baby girl who is due October 7th =)
Beach trips always help…beach chair by the water, plenty of water, music, and of course a great group of friends!
I would love a mini session… I haven’t had any new pictures taken of the boys since last May!

To stay cool we blow up this awesome littl’ pool with a slide & sprinkler & it has Balls & frisbees to throw thru hoops etc. – really cool- my boys love it…. sometimes I even join in …lol… shh don’t tell anyone ;o)
Hunter and I swim w/ Nemo (aka..mo-mo), Crush (aka..cush) & Elmo (mmm-mo) in our new pool … We love summer, but we love October too…we never got to do our “fall picture session” last year (unfortunatly, teething stood in our way)

ok so maybe we can win that golf shoot session i would love to have……….so as for keeping cool, I’d prefer to just stay inside with the ac on 68. But when we are at the barn we just eat the (good) ice,,,LOL that Coy calls water.
