Yes, it’s that time again! It’s time for us to try and win you some money (and get some awesome pictures, too). The annual Miller’s Baby & Child Portrait Contest is back … and you’ve got a chance to win $5,000. Here’s how it works …
- Book a session with me for sometime between now and June 15 (model sessions, buy-an-outfit sessions, picture parties, mini sessions, and regular sessions ALL count). All sessions already held in January and February also count! So, if you had a session during the last two months, I’ll be entering one of your images in the contest : )
- I will select one photo per child (ages 12 and under only) to be entered in one of the four qualifying rounds of the contest. Images will be entered in one of the following categories: Color, Black & White/Sepia, Special Needs, and Humorous
- Millers’ clients (professional photographers) will vote on the images
- For each qualifying round, the top five winners will be selected from the four categories and will receive a studio sample of their winning image. These winning portraits will be entered into the Final Round, which takes place during the month of July. The Final Round will be judged online by a panel of esteemed photographers. First, Second, and Third places, as well as two Honorable Mentions, will be announced for each category! Cash prizes for these winners include $2,000 for First, $1,000 for Second, $750 for Third, and $500 for each Honorable Mention. One portrait from the Final Round will also receive the highest of accolades — Grand Prize Winner. The cash prize will be $5,000 for this lucky winner! All cash prizes will be given to the FAMILIES of the winning portraits.
This contest attracts entries from some of the best child photographers in the world. But, I happen to think that my clients are about as cute as can be and we always end up with rockin’ photos … so I’m excited to see if we can’t just win any of you some money!
