ATWT: Get your photos up where they belong … on the walls!

Weird, weird, weird. That’s the only way to describe the weather out there. Juuuuuust when I thought it was safe to tuck away my winter coats for the season, boom! It snows. I will say, though, that the snow gently resting on the flowers is gorgeous.

Anyway, let’s get on with some ATWT inspiration! It’s been a while since I’ve put up some ideas for how to arrange your family photos. But since I’m too cold to go out without a coat, I thought today would be a great day for it!

Let’s start off with a very glamorous way to display your black and white photos …

And a very non-glamorous — but equally beautiful — way to display pictures of your kids …

I’m such a huge fan of black and white photos in plain white frames …

I’m very, very (very) proud to tell you that I just cleaned out about 6 trash bags of clothes from my previously over-stuffed closet. So it’s just possible that I may have a free skirt hanger that I can use to do this …

There are really cool and clever people out there who figure out how to design stuff that just blows my mind with it’s coolness …

I’m a huge fan of mixing old picture frames with new ones …

Perhaps one day I’ll live in a place with an old mantle like the one below. And when I do, I’ll probably do a display pretty similar to this …

I love clipboard displays. It’s so easy to change out the photos. However, I’m going to confess to you right now: I’ve had my clipboard display up for about a year and  half now and haven’t once changed the photos. Maybe this will be the month I do it!

So there we have it! Some great inspiration for you.

Have you heard that I have all new packages for my clients this year! And they ALL include the digital files! I’m SUPER excited to offer that. You’ll no long have to pick and choose between which pictures you want to keep. I love that I get to help you decorate your home with amazing memories!

Happy Tuesday!
Kate

p.s. Want to book your family session with me? Awesome! I’d love to work with you. I currently photograph families in the beautiful Hudson Valley area of upstate NY, NYC, and Delaware (and the tri-state area.) Spring and summer sessions are the best! So contact me and tell me all about the session of your dreams!

p.p.s I’ll also be traveling to Maine and San Diego this summer. I’ll announce the dates really soon.
