This week I’ve been nursing the cold of all colds. I’m not sure if I’ve ever had a head cold quite like this one before! It’s just relentless. I’m looking longingly out the windows … I want to be outside in the sunshine and warm(er) weather! But for now, I’ve got some windows cracked … my lace curtains are blowing … and that will have to do. I can’t be more excited about Spring’s arrival this year! But now … on to Miss Emma! We’re moving right along in her year plan. I can hardly believe we just shot her 6-month session!
Of course, Emma brought along her big brother Christopher for her photo session. We did Christopher’s 6 month photo session at Longwood a few years back, so it seemed only fitting to meet there for Emma’s session, too. Isn’t Christopher getting so big?! When I snapped the photo below on the right it instantly reminded me of a picture I snapped during his one-year session a couple of years ago. He was so excited because he was about to go swimming! The picture on the right was taken in the children’s play area at Longwood. All Christopher wanted to do throughout the whole session at Longwood was go swimming in the ponds. He couldn’t, of course. So he was veeeery excited when we got to the kids area and he finally got to get wet. Apparently he’s got a little fish in him : )
The flowers are so bright and happy at Longwood right now. If you need a dose of Spring, head to Longwood. Of course, flower picking is not encouraged, but as you can see in the fourth picture below, sometimes little ones are just a little sneaky … and fast! …
