I’ve been photographing families, kids, and weddings for 10 years now! Crazy. So that means I’ve got 10 years worth of amazing fall pictures! I literally have thousands of photos. So I went and pulled out a few of my favorites and put them in a Facebook gallery. Take a peek.
And now, back to my writing challenge! Because I’m going to finish it. I am. I am. I am!
DAY 11 (of 30): The Movies I Never Get Tired of Watching
Once, I watched a speech by Tony Robbins, and I was inspired. Mostly, anyway. He screams a little too much for my taste. But his encouragements resonate deeply within me. He’s right … the only way to succeed, is to get off our butts, work hard, never give up, and adjust when needed.
That’s all true.
But at one point, he said something to the effect of … “Life shouldn’t be boring! You don’t want to become one of those people that watch the same movies over and over again! Get a life, people!”
I laughed. And then I felt bad. But then I laughed again.
Because I am MOST DEFINITELY one of those people who enjoys curling up before the same movie. Over and over again.
Maybe I do need to get a life, lol. But it probably won’t be anytime soon : )
So, here they are … the movies I’ve seen at least 20 times.
Pride & Prejudice. Sorry, Tony. But I actually watch this movie before every single wedding I shoot. Aside from being a die-hard Jane fan, the cinematography and music put me exactly in the right frame of mind to create the kind of images I want to create for my clients.
Shallow Hal. Tony can’t hate me for loving this movie. After all, he’s in it ; ) But that’s not why I love it so much, though. It makes me laugh and it warms my heart.
Runaway Bride. I watch this movie EVERY single fall. This movie just makes me happy as I sip warm apple cider, wrap my sweater a little tighter around me, and pretend I’m there enjoying the fall season in Hale, MD.
Yes, Man. I still laugh out loud every time I watch this gem : )
You’ve Got Mail. Much like Runaway Bride, this is a fall go-to for me. Because after all, who doesn’t love bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils ; )??
Dumb & Dumber. Proof that I’ve got a very juvenile sense of humor. But I don’t care. I love this movie. So. MUCH.
The Holiday. I watch it every winter. And I’m torn between which I like better … the snowy English country side … or the gorgeous LA sun sine?? Gorgeous Jude Law … or funny and sweet Jack Black??
How about you? Any movies you can watch over and over?
