Isen & Cody’s Winterthur Wedding — Delaware Wedding Photographer

Oh, this wedding!!!!!! It was just beautiful in every way. Every little tiny thing about it. Cody and Isen were married on a beautiful summer day at Winterthur in Wilmington, DE.

I’m not sure what part I loved the most … but here are three things I absolutely loved about their wedding:

1. Cody and Isen chose to say their own personal vows during their first look. It took place in a quiet little clearing … tucked away from the rest of the world. Thank you, auto focus … because I sure did cry through their vows and would never have been able to focus manually, lol.
2. These two are such nice people. So it’s not surprising that all the people who were there celebrating with them at their wedding were super nice people, too. It was a pleasure watching them all have fun : )
3. So … funny story: I often ask a couple to have a dance off during their engagement session. Because, well, most of us can’t dance. And so this little trick usually leads to laughter. And I love to photograph laughter! Well, I asked Cody and Isen to bust a move in the middle of Trolley Square during their engagement session … and well, it wasn’t funny! These two can DANCE! They had been taking lessons and their first dance was AMAZING!
