Happy snow day to my friends in the North Eastern section of the country. Here in beautiful Poughquag, NY, the snow is still falling and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The Hudson Valley is just so spectacular when it’s covered in snow. The only trouble is that I forgot to get chocolate yesterday … so I’m stuck home with … GASP! … no dark chocolate. In order to keep my mind off of the withdrawal I’m currently going through, I thought it would be a good idea to share a session from the end of last year.
I’ve photographed this little cutie since she was just 2 weeks old! And now, sniff, sniff, she’s all grown up … and such a sweet little young lady : ) We were originally planning on doing something outdoors, or maybe even finding a place with a piano (since she now takes lessons!), but our wonky weather shifted and we had a freeeeezing cold day. But that’s no problem at Longwood! It’s always summer at Longwood Gardens : ) We’ve done a lot of sessions there over the years, so we challenged ourselves to find some new nooks and corners. And this year, we even found … a piano!
Does she have the cutest dresses, or what?! That cool photo with the light and mirror was actually taken in the bathroom, lol. They have THE coolest bathrooms at Longwood!
Welp. It didn’t work. I still want chocolate, lol.
