Danielle and Cris got married last week in Hudson, NY … and though it wan’t the wedding day they had originally planned, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Thanks to Covid restrictions, it wasn’t possible to have more than 10 guests at their wedding ceremony, so family and friends gathered around their phones and tablets to join in from all over the world via Zoom. (That’s a big perk to Zoom weddings … you don’t have to keep the guest list small!)
Danielle’s original wedding dress arrived, but due to restrictions, she couldn’t get the alterations that were needed. So she ordered an inexpensive but absolutely PERFECT prom dress. I never saw the other dress, but I just can’t imagine it being any more totally right than this one.
We did their photos the night before in Cold Spring along the Hudson River. It was a beautiful, beautiful night and everywhere we wandered, people clapped and cheered for them : )
Here’s how they made their beautiful day happen:

Ok … ready … here we go! …
Congratulations, Cris and Danielle!!!! This was such a beautiful and meaningful way to start your lives together. I’m so, so, so happy for you.
And I have to say that it made me SO SO SO SO SO happy to photograph a wedding again. I’ve missed it so much these last few months. I can’t wait for the rescheduled weddings that await me later this fall!
