2020 has been a ROUGH year for couples who were planning on getting married. So many weddings had to be cancelled or rescheduled. And for some couples, they’ve rescheduled their wedding … and then cancelled their wedding … multiple times. And the reality is, we really just don’t know what will happen next year.
I’ve heard from a lot of frazzled and disheartened couples who have finally decided to just go ahead and hold a micro wedding (just a few guests) or even an elopement this winter because they just don’t want to wait anymore.
And to be honest … I’m excited for them! I know how AMAAAAZING and special intimate ceremonies can be.
But at the same time, I know it’s just a lot to process.
So I decided to hunt around in the incredibly gorgeous Hudson Valley region and dig up some really amazing and special venues for micro weddings.
In this video, I present Shady Acres Organic Farm. I absolutely love everything about this place. The history. The jam (I mean, who doesn’t love jam?!”) The owner. And the pine forest! Imagine that pine forest covered in snow. It would be amaaaazing and beautiful for an intimate ceremony.
Need a photographer?? I know a good one ; ) And it just so happens I live right around the corner from Shady Acres. Shoot me an email. I’d love to be there for your winter elopement or micro weeding. And yeah, I’ll TOTALLY come to you in the snow!
