Wendy emailed me and said, “have you seen the gorgeous sunflower field yet?!” Nope, I hadn’t. But thaaaaankfully, we were able to coordinate and reschedule their engagement session so we could take advantage of the GORGEOUSNESS that is a sprawling field of happy sunflowers! But first, we started at Longwood since that’s where Wendy and Mike had their first date : ) …

Although I have worked with horses on photo shoots a few times in the past, I do have a confession to make: I’m petrified of being close to horses. I just know I’m going to get kicked. Hard. In the head. But aside from a few shoulder nibbles, these guys really didn’t want too much to do with me. But man, oh man, they sure are pretty : ) …
