6 tips for the week of your family session — hudson valley family photographer

I set a goal for myself this year to start making videos for my clients. Why? Because I know sometimes it’s just more effective to listen to something than to read a PDF or a blog post. I failed miserably with the goal … mostly because I really hate being on camera. Buuuut … there’s still two weeks left in this year, and I’ve re-challenged myself to get TWO videos recorded and posted. This is my first. I hope it’s helpful!

I know that it can be overwhelming trying to get everyone ready for a family session. Some Moms even tell me that they delay having family photo shoots because it just overwhelms them too much.

I’m really hoping that these quick tips will help reassure you! I’ll be sending it out to clients the week of their session. Take a peek and if you think there’s anything I can add, I’d love it if you’d reach out to me and let me know! Or just leave a comment below.

Questions? Let me know!

This video is definitely not the best quality. I have some fun ideas for making great videos. But for the sake of GETTING IT DONE, this is my starting point. We’ll see what happens from here : )

XO,
Kate
