A Sleepy Session — Philadelphia Newborn Photographer

Wasn’t the header in my e-letter yesterday the cutest thing ever?! It came from a veeeery lovely session that I had this past Saturday. It was freezing and windy outside, but inside, everyone was snuggled in and warm …

When I arrived, this sweet little girl was faaast asleep. But as soon as we got down to “business” she woke up and remained awake for most of our session. I choose to believe it’s because she enjoyed my company so much!

We did manage a few little sleepy shots, though …

I love this next one! What a good big brother. We interrupted his nap in his own bed by bringing him in to lie down with the baby. Even when he woke up with me standing right in his face with a camera, he didn’t fuss at all. What a sweetie …

She has the bluest eyes ever! Look out Mom and Dad … I think she’s going to be a serious stunner when she gets older!

But that’s ok, because clearly big bro’ will be there to protect her …

And I think this next one just might be my favorite from the session. What could possibly make a Mom’s heart more glad than having her two babies lying peacefully beside her? …

And finally, after staying awake for too long, she let me know it was time for me to leave …

You’ll be seeing more of this lovely family since we’ll be doing the year-long baby plan. And since they happen to live in a fabulous old house (complete with fabulous old bath tub!), in a fabulous area of Philadelphia, I know we’re going to get amazing pictures of their first year together as a family of four.
