Oh, I was so bummed. We were originally scheduled to do Analeigh’s three-year session while she and her Mommy were hanging out in my neck of the woods here in the Hudson Valley. But the day of the session arrived and it rained … and rained … and rained. Grr. So we decided it was better to reschedule. Thankfully, we were able to fit in a session on my last trip down to Delaware. For the first time in the history of our fabulous picture-taking escapades (newborn … one year … two years … that time they made cookies) we went to an urban spot. It was fun to change things up! We started out on Main Street in Newark on a bright and sunny afternoon. I tried my best to keep up with Analeigh … who is currently a mover and a shaker. She’s way quicker than me – even in her fancy big-girl heels ; ) …
And here comes my very favorite picture from this session : ) …
There was dancing. There was singing. There was climbing (and even some crawling!). And then there was a quick stop by SAS cupcakes in Newark where I found out that they once again have gluten-free cupcakes a few times a week! I gave up sugar 6 months ago otherwise I would have stocked up. I love SAS! And clearly, Analeigh does, too : ) …
And then there was one last stop … the Newark Reservoir. The sky was just SO SO beautiful that day. Thankfully, Analeigh had just a little extra energy left (thanks to the cupcake!) so we could get some blue sky/green grass pictures of this fabulous Mommy/Daughter duo …
The little braids got messier and messier as the session went on. I love that.
