flashback friday!

I’m (once again) putting together a new Web site for my family portraiture side of the business. It’s been a bit of  a frustration for me because it’s not that long ago that I spent a ton of time working on the one that is currently in place! Unfortunately,  I used the latest and “greatest” technology of a few years ago (HTML 5) and then … BOOM! Ipads came out and got crazy popular and … of course … don’t support HTML5. Soooo, from flash (my original site), to HTML 5, right back to just plain old HTML (that’s what I’m using this time) … here’s hoping technology will slow down just a tad because it sure is hard trying to keep up with the constant changes!

Now, as for the good part of putting together the new site … I’m spending time sorting through pictures that I haven’t seen in a while. That’s always fun. And since  it’s about time for another entry in the Chic Critique Forum cover contest, my peek through the oldies but goodies came at a great time. I pulled out this gem … which just so happens to be one of my favorite shots from a very fun shoot I did with my friend Kathy. I have a very bad habit of looking back on my work and only focusing on what I don’t like about it. But with this image, I still love everything about it : )
