Lately, I’ve had this incredible longing to travel somewhere. I’m dreaming of starting off in the south of France and then heading down to eat my way through Italy : ) I feel like every time I open social media, I’m seeing people’s amazing vacation videos and photos. And while I’m happy that friends are able to travel, it’s not possible for me at the moment.
At first, that was starting to really get me down.
But then I decided to focus on the fact that I live in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York … a vacation destination! People come HERE to vacation. One day I’ll be wandering the streets of Positano. But for this summer, I’m trying hard to enjoy every bit of the beauty of my everyday life.
