When I talked with Kimberly about her upcoming wedding in Rhinebeck, NY, she told me that her and Michael wanted things to be simple and truly meaningful. As she spoke about a focus on family, friends, and the meaning behind their wedding day … I knew it was going to be special. Her words just really resonated with me.
I told her how her vision spoke to me and that I would probably do something very similar … maybe just elope to somewhere beautiful in a $50 online dress. She laughed about the dress since she had just ordered her online dress.
Kimberly and Michael invited their closest family and friends to a peaceful retreat in Rhinebeck, NY. Everything about the day … even the romantic rainy drizzle … was just perfect.
I think one of my personal favorite moments was right after the ceremony when Kimberly’s Mom hugged her tightly and said with SO much emotion and feeling, “I am SO, SO, SO happy for you, Kimberly!” I could literally feel the happiness in the air. (Insert happy sigh here.)
