Just a couple of months ago, I received an email from one of Lauren’s bridesmaids letting me know that there was a possibility of a date change for their wedding. Due to some very sudden and difficult circumstances, it seemed as though a November 4 wedding might not happen. But she said someone would get back to me to keep me up to date. I was so absolutely relieved when I learned that November 4 was a go!!

Life can be so full of surprises — some good, some challenging … and some just test every ounce of your being. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate overcoming a terribly difficult time than to get married surrounded by family and friends on a perfect fall day. A January wedding would have been just fine. But November 4 was perfect — and I’m so glad that I got to be there with them!

It was fun hanging out with this gang again! Lauren was one of the bridesmaids in Carolyn and Matt’s beautiful wedding a few years ago.
