Ready for a really pretty wedding? With really lovely people? And beautiful summer colors galore?! Oh, and don’t even get me started on the dramatic lighting in the room where the girls got ready!!
Pam and Justin’s Carriage House at Rockwood wedding was nothing short of just perfect. When Pam and I first sat down to chat about the big day, she was torn between two dates. One in July and one in August. Fearing a giant heat wave, she consulted the Farmer’s Almanac and found that the August date looked better. Ironically, the date we made to meet up at the venue in advance to go over last-minute details was the July date. And, coincidentally, the hottest day of the year : ) So, thanks Farmer’s Almanac … the August date was absolutely picture perfect!
After a really fun engagement/family photo session last year (that Pam won she played along with one of my silly Facebook games and correctly guessed that I blow large numbers of quarters when playing a crane game!), I knew we’d get beautiful images on their wedding day. And we did : )

I think this might be my first couple who actually smashed the cake! I’ve had a few little smidges of icing on noses … but never a full smash. Good stuff!

I am Justin’s mother. I absolutely love the pictures. When I first saw Pam in that dress, tears filled my eyes. Well, your pictures were so gorgeous, that a few more happy tears appeared in the corner of my eyes, as I browsed the blog. I can’t wait for the remainder. You have such a wonderful eye. THANK YOU !
