I’m sitting downstairs right now typing this while a new floor is being installed upstairs in my office. Man is it dusty in here! And it sounds like a war zone. AND my vent just fell out of the ceiling. I’m waiting for one of the workers to fall through, too. Because, let’s face it … it’s me. And that’s the kind of stuff that happens to me! But that’s ok. I’m so happy the floor is finally going in! I’ve been without an office for a looooong time, so it will be beyond wonderful when everything is finally in place. And first things first … the floor.
Anywho, on to the preview. It was such a pleasure working with this cuter-than-cute family. This was the very first picture of the day …
Kids are so easy. Just tell them not to laugh. It works EVERY time! …
I think this next one is one of my favorites from the day. I like when mouths are just wide open with happiness : ) …
What family session is complete without a little family tackle?? …
The next one on the right cracks me up. After the tackle, the little one decided to come over and sit on my lap. She’s immediately in front of me here and I have no idea how I actually got her in focus since I was using a 50 mm. And then there’s her big tough brother on the left ; ) …
And finally … let’s help out this family. They are originally from the San Diego area — home to the most amazing Mexican restaurants. They asked me if I know of any good Mexican restaurants around here. I don’t. Do you? Leave a comment and let us know if you do : ) (And no, Taco Bell doesn’t count!)
Happy Monday!
Kate

Oh, thank you, Christina!! I couldn’t think of the name of that place!!!!! And Christine … yay! So glad you like them so far!!! I’ve got looooots more!!!!!!!! : )
El ‘Diablo in Trolley Square is pretty fabulous. Small inside, however, fresh food, healthy options, & great taste. If you go around lunch time, line will be out the door! Nothing compares to Southern Cali Mexican, but this definitly takes care of the craving!
